Rick Sparling was born (and raised) in Neepawa, Manitoba, in 1945, March 13th. Rick started writing in 2013 for the Herald. He has submitted many articles to the Neepawa Banner, from 2013 - 2023. He has gone on to publish 5 books about Neepawa's history, and hopes continue his work.
